Stories from the Flashpoint

The sound of drones buzzing overhead. The longing for a homeland. The struggle to find work and earn a living. Yet alongside these challenges live hope, ambition and entrepreneurial spirit. Daily life can be turbulent for young people in the Middle East, but we rarely hear their own stories about life, hardship and dreams.

Globalnyt and Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke invite you to the launch of a new article series in which young people from, among other places, Palestine, Jordan, Syria and Yemen share their own experiences and perspectives. During the event, you will hear audio stories and meet Jana and Razan, who will read from their own stories.

Join us for an afternoon of storytelling, conversation and music as we gain a deeper understanding of young people's everyday lives, opportunities and aspirations across the Middle East. After the programme, we invite you to stay for a drink and light refreshments.

Participation is free, but registration is required. Reserve your free ticket via Billetto above.
